The Recipe Of Love

We're back on the Cape to celebrate the wedding of our new favorite west coast imports slash east coast export's, Amber and Brian! This vocally and musically inclined pair got hitched this past fall at the historical Overbrook House in Bourne. This was our second time at the retreat and our first time meeting the bride and groom face to face as they've been kicking it on the west coast for awhile, though Brian assures me he's still a rabid New England sports fan, and who wouldn't be?!

The wedding day kicked off with both the bride and groom and their respective wolfpacks hanging out in the big house to get ready. They took full advantage of the space and put a personal touch on the living room that we thought was pretty cool. As Amber and the ladies prepared with a champagne toast upstairs, Brian and the men were having a quick jam session in the living room that pretty much set the tone for all the awesomeness to come.

We had a real storybook kind of setting for the first look in the woods with the sun breaking through the canopy. As Amber approached Brian we half expected little cartoon animals to start popping out from behind tree trunks and bushes.

The ceremony was as awesome as the first look and we're wondering who we should be thanking for the cleanest audio source we've ever had. It shouldn't really have come as too much of a surprise, however given our bride and grooms experience on the mic.

After some cocktails the newlyweds and their guests retired under the tent for a little shade, food and some great toasts by some close friends. Brian told us the story of his courtship of Amber, which came with advice for young Matthew to consider later in life. Good advice.

As if things hadn't gone well enough, the wedding party entrances, first dance and parent dances were outstanding! Not to mention a touching vocal performance by Amber for Brian. We dug it!

Easily said, this couple are the cats pajamas. We had a great time capturing their wedding day and getting to know them and their wild, crazy, awesome friends and family. We hope you enjoy the highlights and a big congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Packer!!!!

Tying the Knot In Truro

It was our first trip to the Provincetown area this summer for the wedding celebration of Dan and Jean Marc. As residents, these guys knew a thing or two about the area, we were in for the full P-town experience!

The weekend kicked off with a cocktail party and a special performance from the politically incorrect Miss Richfield, at the 8 Dyer Hotel. Afterwards we sent the drone up to take a look around before we heading to Truro.

The weather for the wedding was perfect for some more aerial shots, and we captured some stunning views of Pamet Harbor. Meanwhile, down at the Yacht Club, Connie and her team at The Perfect Plan were busy making the modestly sized yacht club really sprawl out to accommodate the rowdy friends and family. The tent would come in clutch during cocktail hour later, that sun was intense, thanks Connie!

Fast forward to the ceremony, with some colorful umbrellas and the Hyannis sound performing some phenomenal acapella Dan and Jean Marc made their way down the aisle to finally make their 20 year relationship lawfully official. With their friend Benjamin presiding and the couple saying their I do's the newlyweds sealed their vows with a kiss and walked off into the sunset.

We had a pleasure hanging with Dan and Jean Marc and their rowdy friends and family. Check out the highlights and don't forget to catch the preview reel if you haven't already.  Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Cheer's to the Martini's

On a beautiful weekend in July, we cruised down the cape to catch up with the Bobadilla and Martini families celebrating the wedding of Julissa and Mike. The couple rented out a sweet pad of the weekend and we started off there to grab some shots of them getting ready.

Soon after the trolley pulled up and Mike and the guys headed to the church down in Chatham to make it official. As aways, downtown Chatham was bustling with vacationers and they whipped out their smartphones to snap a few pics of the bride as she walked in the church.

As you’ll see, the ceremony had a couple minor flaws and Mike was quick with the jokes and had the whole crowd laughing, including us. One ring fumble, then recovery later Julissa and Mike the knot!

Afterwards it was off the the Wychmere Beach Club for the reception and the bridal party did not disappoint as they entered the ballroom, what moves! After an acrobatic first dance, the newlyweds sat to listen to some heartfelt words from the father of the bride and best man, not to be outdone by a hilarious slideshow  presented by the maid’s of honor.

Then the real fun began. We though the bridal party could dance so we should have known their friends and family were as skilled as they were! Think we learned a couple new ones…

We had such a great time capturing Mike and Julissa’s wedding day. We hope you enjoy the highlights!

Wedding In the Harbor

We’re back at Wychmere Beach Club in Harwich Port on the Cape. It’s one of our favorite venues, especially if you’re blessed with some perfect weather, as was the case for Ben and Nicole’s wedding in mid-May.

The sun was out but wasn’t too harsh and it made for the perfect setting for their ceremony out on the lawn. Family and friends filled in the seats and thensome to watch these two tie the knot. After a few carefully selected readings from family members, and a big sendoff from the JP, it was official #herecomethebradfords!

After a few cocktails, to keep properly hydrated…and some photo’s taken by Kristin Jordan, the newlyweds and their bridal party came through with some really fun entrances to kick off the reception. A big thanks to some fantastic toasts from our maids of honor and best man, we stole a few lines from you guys to put this together…and we have to give it up to the Men In Black, who once again rocked the house all night long.

We had a blast with this crew, and ran into some familiar faces from videos past, see if you can spot em! We hope you enjoy the highlights. Congratulations to Ben and Nicole!

Meet The Palmers

We’re back in Falmouth! This time at the historic Highfield Hall for the wedding celebration of Campbell and Emma. It was a perfect fall day for an outdoor ceremony and to steal a line from Mr. Hurley, people came from all over to celebrate with the newlyweds including international venues and even strange places like San Fransisco and Cleveland! They all gathered in the garden to witness the couple say say their I do’s, and they did. Of course, Jack, Thomas and Elouise participated as well during the sand ceremony…there was a lot of sand, mission accomplished!

After, the reception kicked off with some toasts which ranged from laugh out loud funny to happy tears. It was an emotional roller coaster and there were way too many punchlines to squeeze into this highlight, well done everyone! As the sun set, the wedding party and their guests moved indoors to cut the cake and open up the dance floor and did they ever. Meanwhile, deep in a dark corner of the mansion, Campbell’s college buddies, family and friends got together to wish Campbell a happy 40th birthday, more hilarity ensued. Don’t forget to check out that video below, it won’t dissapoint!

A very big congrats to Campbell, Emma, Jack, Thomas and Elouise! Get ready to meet the Palmers!

Kaitlyn & Jon Set Sail

We're back on the Cape! This time at Wychmere Beach Club to celebrate the marriage of two high school sweethearts, Kaitlyn and Jon. That's right, after 11 years together the big day is finally here. The ceremony was held on the beach with a beautiful ocean view. Surrounded by family and friends, the bride and groom said their I do's. Meanwhile, up above, Jeff was doing his drone thing and captured some great shots of the harbor.

Inside, Ron and the rest of the Gang at Clockwork Entertainment got the party started early and kept it going all night. This was a wild and crazy bunch, we really enjoyed hanging with the Pettengill/Stickney crew!

Congratulations to the newlyweds and enjoy the highlights!

Manny & Ashley's Cape Cod Wedding

The Abernathy and Toscano crew packed the Sea Crest Beach Resort in Falmouth this past September and we were there to capture it all. The ceremony was held nearby in Mashpee at Christ the King where the couple tied the knot in front of a large gathering of family and friends. After, everyone zipped back to the Sea Crest to enjoy a cocktail hour starring an epic cape cod sunset over the water.

Inside the reception kicked off with some awesome wedding introductions from Manny and Ashley's parents, followed by the newlyweds enjoying their first dance together as husband and wife. The toasts were a roller coaster of emotions, we were either choked up or near tears laughing at the inspiring tale of "The Manolito and His Journey to America", coming soon to Broadway...we think.

We had a blast spending time with these two and we hope you enjoy the highlights. Congrats to Manny and Ashley!

Katy & Andy Make Fireworks

As it turns out, July 4th weekend isn't the only time to light some fireworks. The flames of LoOove were burning in late May between Katy and Andy at the Overbrook House in Bourne, Ma. It was a gorgeous day for wedding celebrations and the new pair made the most of it enjoying the outdoors all day long.

The reception kicked off with a warm welcome from the father of the bride and was followed up with a touching vocal performance by Katy's mother. Following that were a lot of happy tears produced during a toast by Andy's brother. After, the matron of honor brought the comic relief, and some tears of her own, of course.

Then, blast off! The reception moved to one of the many cottages on this sprawling venue where Katy and Andy lit up the dance floor, literally. Nice kicks, Andy. We were very fortunate to be a part of this awesome wedding with some really genuine folks that made us feel welcome. Congrats to the newlyweds, may your light continue to shine through for years to come!
