Cheer's to the Martini's

On a beautiful weekend in July, we cruised down the cape to catch up with the Bobadilla and Martini families celebrating the wedding of Julissa and Mike. The couple rented out a sweet pad of the weekend and we started off there to grab some shots of them getting ready.

Soon after the trolley pulled up and Mike and the guys headed to the church down in Chatham to make it official. As aways, downtown Chatham was bustling with vacationers and they whipped out their smartphones to snap a few pics of the bride as she walked in the church.

As you’ll see, the ceremony had a couple minor flaws and Mike was quick with the jokes and had the whole crowd laughing, including us. One ring fumble, then recovery later Julissa and Mike the knot!

Afterwards it was off the the Wychmere Beach Club for the reception and the bridal party did not disappoint as they entered the ballroom, what moves! After an acrobatic first dance, the newlyweds sat to listen to some heartfelt words from the father of the bride and best man, not to be outdone by a hilarious slideshow  presented by the maid’s of honor.

Then the real fun began. We though the bridal party could dance so we should have known their friends and family were as skilled as they were! Think we learned a couple new ones…

We had such a great time capturing Mike and Julissa’s wedding day. We hope you enjoy the highlights!

Meet The Palmers

We’re back in Falmouth! This time at the historic Highfield Hall for the wedding celebration of Campbell and Emma. It was a perfect fall day for an outdoor ceremony and to steal a line from Mr. Hurley, people came from all over to celebrate with the newlyweds including international venues and even strange places like San Fransisco and Cleveland! They all gathered in the garden to witness the couple say say their I do’s, and they did. Of course, Jack, Thomas and Elouise participated as well during the sand ceremony…there was a lot of sand, mission accomplished!

After, the reception kicked off with some toasts which ranged from laugh out loud funny to happy tears. It was an emotional roller coaster and there were way too many punchlines to squeeze into this highlight, well done everyone! As the sun set, the wedding party and their guests moved indoors to cut the cake and open up the dance floor and did they ever. Meanwhile, deep in a dark corner of the mansion, Campbell’s college buddies, family and friends got together to wish Campbell a happy 40th birthday, more hilarity ensued. Don’t forget to check out that video below, it won’t dissapoint!

A very big congrats to Campbell, Emma, Jack, Thomas and Elouise! Get ready to meet the Palmers!

Katie & Jack Take A Ride

We’ve had the pleasure of meeting a lot of couples this year, each with their own unique story of how their relationship took form and we often learn a thing or two along the way. Earlier this September, we went north to York to celebrate the wedding of Katie and Jack where we learned how to have a good time and enjoy life’s moments, big and small.

As you watch it won’t be hard to tell that the Finley and the O’Niell families are wild and crazy, really funny and incredibly close. It was impossible not to enjoy yourself with this crew. Every guest was on their feet and on the dance floor all night. Here’s just a little taste!

Kelly & Andrew Hit The Books

We live in the digital age. We're all connected to a massive social network through our devices or for some, to their devices. Strangely enough a lot of people feel its really hard to meet someone new. I mean who meets at a dog park anymore, really?

That's right, straight out of your favorite Rom-Com Kelly and Andrew and their furry companions met at a dog park in Dallas. There was love in the air, and perhaps some puppy love too. Fast forward to this August in Boston where the couple tied the knot at the historic Arlington Street Church. The street corners were packed with curious travelers snapping some photo's of the newlyweds (on their smartphones, duh). Some even asked for a photo with the bride! Of course, Kelly kindly obliged.

After the ceremony, family and friend's skipped across town to the Boston Public Library for the reception. All we can say is WOW. The library had been transformed by Alyssa, her BPL team and Nicole at Simeral Co.

After a couple toasts and some cake it was time for The Elements to start the party and whoa, forget the noise complaints, they blew the lid off the place!

We really enjoyed capturing some great moments for this awesome couple. We hope you enjoy the highlights. Congrats to Kelly and Andrew!

Into The Woods

The Loughnane's, Vitali's and friends huffed it into the woods this June to the Essex Retreat and Conference Center in Essex, MA. The natural landscape surrounding the campground was beautiful and full of wildlife, unique metal art sculptures and a natural brook that spilled into a pond covered in lily pads. It was straight out of a disney movie. We were half expecting a character to pop out from behind a tree.

Family and friends gathered around the pond as Pat and Danielle stood on the peninsula to say their I do's, and they did...so did Guinness. After the couple was introduced, Jack and Jessica toasted the newlyweds, then they dropped the mic. From then on it was nothing but cake mushing, s'more cooking and soul training.

This was a fun one for sure, we hope you enjoy the highlight! Congrats to Pat and Danielle!

Krista & Justin's Homecoming

It all began at Merrimack back in 2006 when these two collegiate athletes met one night as freshmen. Nine years later, Krista and Justin came back to their meeting place to tie the knot. After some wise words from Father Jim, the couple and their wild guests shipped it to the Tewksbury CC and turned up the volume.

The bridal party flashed some serious creativity during introductions. There were selfie sticks, a walk off for the ages and a high profile celebrity appearance, who's identity we are not at liberty to disclose. After came some hilarious and also emotional toasts from friends and family. Then, the band, Night Rhythm came with the kick drum and kept the dance floor packed all night. We had a great time at this wedding and we're excited to share their story. Congratulations to Krista and Justin!

Katy & Andy Make Fireworks

As it turns out, July 4th weekend isn't the only time to light some fireworks. The flames of LoOove were burning in late May between Katy and Andy at the Overbrook House in Bourne, Ma. It was a gorgeous day for wedding celebrations and the new pair made the most of it enjoying the outdoors all day long.

The reception kicked off with a warm welcome from the father of the bride and was followed up with a touching vocal performance by Katy's mother. Following that were a lot of happy tears produced during a toast by Andy's brother. After, the matron of honor brought the comic relief, and some tears of her own, of course.

Then, blast off! The reception moved to one of the many cottages on this sprawling venue where Katy and Andy lit up the dance floor, literally. Nice kicks, Andy. We were very fortunate to be a part of this awesome wedding with some really genuine folks that made us feel welcome. Congrats to the newlyweds, may your light continue to shine through for years to come!
