Miami, Florida.
In a blistering cold winter in New England, we traveled with Brianna & Hermann to the sun kissed coastline of Miami to celebrate their wedding day where they first met. Escaping the cold was one thing but working along side an award winning photographer Cristiano Ostinelli of Milan, Italy was a joy. From capturing a jaw dropping sunrise time-lapse video Thursday morning to the awe inspiring Miami nightlife from above later that evening, we were off to a good start. On Friday, a sunset photo session kicked off the wedding rehearsal dinner at the Faena Hotel, leading up to the wedding day Saturday at the iconic Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, we had so much to work with it was tough packing it all into this highlight of Brianna & Hermann’s incredible wedding weekend.
Cascais, Portugal.
With strong family roots to Portugal, Gillian knew it had to be the place to start her marriage with Vince. Words can’t truly describe the experience of Cascais, all we can say is it’s one special place. Originally built as a military fort in 1642, Fortaleza Do Guincho was converted into a hotel & restaurant in 1959. Sitting on the edge of a cliff on the coast, we couldn’t get enough of some of the aerial footage we were able to capture. From the ceremony site, to the reception indoors and the band putting on an unforgettable performance in the depths of the castle, it was one of the most memorable weddings we’ve ever had the pleasure of filming.
Sonoma, California
When you live and work out in San Francisco, life is good. especially when Sonoma is a short drive away. Lindsie, a Boston native met Ronnie in the city and the couple chose a rustic setting to share their vows. If you guessed a vineyard…you’d be correct. Set in between the rolling hills of Sonoma Valley, Tyge Wine Cellars was everything we though it would be. The wedding celebration was as relaxed and fun and cool as this California couple. The only regret we have, is that we haven’t been back since.
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Maria & Kyle live a fast paced, cosmopolitain lifestyle here in Boston. With such an incredibly hard working pair, we assumed that this couple would be all business. But after a dinner invite to their home in Beacon Hill, we came away with a feeling that we knew them for years. Warm and inviting as their wedding destination, we could not have had a better time with Maira, Kyle and their families. A fishing trip started off the weekend and the couple both came away with an impressive catch. Tee wedding day was blessed with gorgeous weather, a sunset dinner and the couple flexed their dance moves for their first dance that ended with a bang! Followed up by a wild and crazy reception hosted by Grammy Award winning DJ Steve Smith.
